This place is amazing. The burgers are incredible and priced so reasonably I could have eaten 3 of them .... although I had to stop at 1.5... The staff is fab and the location an vibes are top notch. I have no clue what is up with that 1 star reviewer - my experience was fab, and I bet yours will be as well.
The best smash burger I’ve ever had! Awesome perfectly crispy edges! Great family atmosphere, lots of stuff to do. Finally something fun to do in downtown Blue Ridge! Really convenient downtown location. Pinball by the hour. Craft beers, great food, well maintained pinball machines. All in great working order l, no weak flippers. Great Merchandise for sale, small tables for eating and a small patio outside. Easy access to everything downtown, convenient central location Machines are on free play, you pay by the hour or for all day. Very clean machines, fun atmosphere for sure. Good for couples, families or dumping off family members that dont want to watch you shop. They have both old and new machines. All the new Stern releases. Older style machines, a sit down cocktail table and a standup Galaga. Great windows for people watching. Friendly staff too. Best Smash Burger I ever had!! What a great new location!
After doing a dramatic reading of a 1-star review left for Vertigo Pinball by an unreasonable customer I decided I had to support this place. The owner and staff were so nice and friendly! Such a brilliant pinball bar they have built. Well maintained machines and a simple system of payment for play - just scan a wristband - first time seeing that for pinball. Great selection of machines also, as the owner is clearly a Pinball aficionado. Set the high score on Medieval Madness while having an excellent porter. Great spot, chill vibe, perfect for kids too. Would give 6 stars if I could.
A perfect hybrid of pinball and bar. Plenty for the kids to do while the adults enjoy a ballgame at the bar (or also enjoy pinball). The best service in town, NA beers available, and tasty food as well. We will always return to Vertigo!
The staff was incredible. We used to go to the smaller location but i think this is a great space for them. Kids played pinball while we snacked and drank some beers. I definitely recommend trying the beer cheese. Some of the best i have had in a long time.
Their new location provides a lot more room, which is nice. They have added some machines. They have a pretty good tap beer selection, and their smash burgers are actually pretty tasty!
12 pinball for an hour / 20 all day & plenty of alcoholic drinks to choose from. The smashburgers are one of the best in town!!!
We were so excited to learn about this place in downtown Blue Ridge. I brought my teen daughter to play pinball machines. It was 12 per person per hour, but there were other ways to play and I’m sorry I didn’t note all of the purchase options. They provide you with a wristband once you pay and you scan that to be able to play unlimited. It looked like a fun bar and restaurant and several people were having birthday parties there while we were there. Looks like an extensive bar and a good place to watch a game. We came exclusively for the pinball machines, and there was a great variety of older and newer pinballs. Seems like there is a special collection of rock band and also movie specialties like Star Wars and walking dead, etc. It was so fun playing and my daughter loved playing as well. They are lined up in Rowsand I thought it was nice they put cupholders on them so you could keep your drink or phone right next to you as you were playing. Definitely a fun place to check out. We didn’t try the food so I didn’t provide a food rating.
